Excursion New York to Washington DC

The trip will have a break midway for breakfast. After our arrival and during the tour, the Tour Guide will make informative stories and stops with time for photographs and videos. The tour begins in the State of Virginia inside the Arlington Cemetery, to learn about this sacred place for the military and visit the grave of John F. Kennedy and the members of his family buried there. Also, in Virginia we will visit the Iwo Shima Monument in honor of the Marines and we will be able to appreciate the Pentagon facilities.

The tour of Georgetown City is a time to marvel at that nostalgic colonial atmosphere and Victorian architecture, now populated by young people who attend Georgetown University. Then they will climb the steps of the Lincoln Memorial, from this point of the National Mall Park we will observe the Washington Monument, the fabulous Obelisk in memory of George Washington and visit the Vietnam War Memorial. Also, from the vehicle you will see the FBI, the National Archives building, the Federal Reserve, the Jefferson Memorial, and much more. At the next stop we will visit the front of the White House, and then an interesting tour to appreciate the center of the city.

Final stop at the Capitol, one of the most significant buildings and headquarters of the Legislative Power, place where Senators and Representatives make the decisions that mark the course of the country and the world, this stop also includes a visit to the Smithsonian Air and Space Museum, you will be able to see the Original Apollo 11 Capsule, Charles Lindbergh’s original Spirit of St. Louis aircraft, the Wright brothers’ first aircraft, and all the aerospace technology. At lunch time, our guide will inform you of the options for free time until the return trip begins (stopping halfway) to the city of Manhattan, ending the excursion at your place.
